I think the most interesting article was the article about the football player and the coach who saved his life. I believe this is the most newsworthy article because not only is it exciting but it happened in a town close to here. Because the event happened somewhere near here and it involved a life risking situation, it becomes newsworthy and interesting for the public to read. It also sets an example of an incident where the goals and standards most coaches strive for are achieved.
I think that the most newsworthy article was the article about the coach that saved his football player's life by realizing that he was not feeling well and taking him to the hospital. This article was very important because not only did it show how good the coach was, and the type of relationship he had with his players, but it was also the alternative story. If those boys had, had a different football coach, that boy might have died. This article shows that some coaches are really dedicated to their team and make sure they are taken care of.
I think that the article that was most interesting was the one about the Foofball player, and how his coach saved his life. I say that becasue the coach showed that he cares alot about all of his players and he dident just make him sit out he went and saw if he was alright. I think that this article is worth being news because he new that somthing was wrong and took action towards it. Because this was near were we live, i think that alot of other coaches from all sports should pay attetion to what this coach did.
Andrew veiga I believe the most interesting blog was the one that christopher kimball shared with us. I like this one the best because this was a major dispute last year and now kanye west has come out and apologized to Taylor and to the world.
I believe that Michael Sullivan's article was the most interesting,because his has to do with something that affects all of us. Constantly we find ourselves blinded by the events going on in popstars lives other than the things that are affecting us Americans and how we live our lives. Do you agree? Don't you agree that when you think about it we spend more time worrying about what other people other doing other than ourselves and whats affecting our lives? think about it.
I think that people should have to be qualified to get more jobs so that the people who have truly earned them get them. Otherwise there are going to be a lot of uneducated people performing jobs and not doing them efficiently.
I think the article that was the most interesting was the Kanye West & Taylor Swift article. Even though it happened last year it was still interesting to hear about because we all know what happened. I don't see why Kanye West was kind of happy about the death threats. Publicity isn't the only thing you should worry about when your a celebrity. You should also worry about your reputation with the world and what everybody thinks of you as.
I think that the most interestintg article was the one about Kanye West and Taylor Swift. I don't think people should have made death threats to Kanye on twitter. Everyone makes mistakes, and people should be forgiven for them.
Ryan Connor I believe that the most interesting article was about how lower level or basic jobs require qualification. I think this was the most interesting because i thought that when applying for a basic job, you would not need any type of qualification as long as you could complete the task at hand.
I think the most interesting article was the one about the extra year of child care before Kindergarten. If so many people are doing it a major problem could occur because the children who had the extra child care will be ahead in the curriculum and have to go through things they already know. The only soplution is to seperate the kids which is not right.
well the most INTERESTING artical was the Taylor Swift one because of Kanyes apology a year after. I think it was because of the death threats. But the most important one was the Job qualifacation article. My grandpa always talks about the old days where everything was cheap and you didnt need to go to college to get a job. But now you need to get a degree and even then you aren't guarenteed a job.

To me, the most intriguing article was on how to save money in todays tough economic times. People really need the help and will take any advice they can get on how to save money and budget carefully. This article was newsworthy, and helpfull. The fact that we see that wealthier people buy less luxiourious items is enlightening to us that we can do the same as them without splurging on expensive unessesary items. This is why this article was most interesting to me.
The blog that I thought was the most newsworthy was the education article. I think this because these days you need a really good education to get a job & have a good career. If students have not had a full education then they won't get into a good college & go on in life to do what they want. I say this because now parents are keeping children at home to learn. Why might some parents do this? Maybe they don't want to let their children go because the parent is attached to them. It could be as simple as that. Maybe though, parents don't believe the children are getting their full share of education & the parents believe they can teach better than a public or even private school. This is why I believe parents keep children at home for education and why this article was newsworthy.
I think that the most interesting article was the one about how to save money because the advice that the article gives would come in handy to many people in the country right now. No matter how the economy is, its always good to save money for the future
I think the most interesting article was on the education one, and how they keep there children till a older age weather the parents are scared or worried about their kids being let go or whatnot. But the reason i choose this as the most interesting Because i have a baby sister thats will be three in November and it just made me think of my family
Jonathan , I don't think its right to even put them in school late because there missing out on learning about different things. Teachers probably have more of an education with what there teaching then parents do .
I think the Kanye west story is the most interesting. I find it weird that it took this long for him to say something. why did he wait so long to speak up? I feel like this issue should have been over and done with by now and people should just move on.
Shelby Clark I believe that the most interesting article was the article about how people will need more skill and degrees to get jobs. I think this was the most interesting articel because it will urge kids to go into college so they can get a good job that pays good as well. It said even the littlest jobs will require a degree so it will give people a message to go to college so they can get a job and support their families
The most interesting article, in my opinion, would be the article about finacing, and how rich people buy luxuries insead of necessities. If people only bought necessities, then we probably wouldnt be in a recession this bad.
Judging by the amount of posts relatiing to the Taylor Swift and Kanye West, in response to christopher kimball's question, I think that as Americans we do spend too much time worrying about other people and thinking about other people's problems than those in our own lives.
Jon, i dont think its right to shelter kids and put them in to school late. i mean wouldnt the more social skills you get be better because youre around people your whole life

People like to spend money when they have alot of it and some find out sooner or later its all gone. This article will help and give you tips how to finace it and save it to make more.
I think that the most interesting article was the one about the aftermath of the situation at the Video Music Awards, last year, involving Taylor Swift and Kanye West. This is becuase Kanye really messed up and caused quite a commotion in the entertainment industry. Many people were not pleased with what he did and even threatened him with death threats. Everyone knows that he messed up, but I think some people took it a little too far with death threats. Kanye made the decision and now has to deal with the consequences of his actions. I'm sure he lost a lot of money and his reputation took a nose dive because of it.
I think the most interesting article was Michael Sullivan's because we need to stop wondering or worrying about what other stars are doing right now. We have more important things to do! I agree with cmkimball95, you are right about how we spend more time worrying then caring on about what is happening on with the world today!

I found it surprising that the people with the most money are actually the ones who are saving and cutting back. Even though those billionaires have the choice to spend millions on cars and houses, they limit themselves from the optional things in life. I think that the majority of us who don't have billions of dollars should learn how to save money from the world's richest people especially in this economy.
I think that the Kanye West/ Taylor Swift article was relevant still because the VMA's are coming up soon, and people will always remember what happened. Everyone disliked Kanye's action, including President Obama. I feel the reason that people came at Kanye so hard for what he did was because Taylor Swift is seen as an innocent little girl still. No one dislikes her, and she is very popular with all age groups. Kanye West may be using this as a way to get back into the public eye because his new album's debut is coming up. Is this article an apology or just an artist desperate for publicity?
I think that the education article about students being held back until they are six to go into kindergarten is related to the article about job qualifications. I think that these parents see what is happening with unemployment and the economy, and want their child's brain to be more developed than other people who in the future will be applying for similar jobs. This gives their child the advantage and can allow them to get a better qualification because their brains are further developed.
With every simple descision you make if life have Pros and cons so if the parents want to keep them homed school. They will get a better bond with each other some people don't even know there parents. And i wouldn't want to lose my parents as much as they drive me crazy
Aislin , i don't think that the parents are sheltering there kids because there scared about the social skills. I think there scared that there not learning about the right things and they don't want to expose them to the wrong things. Also i think its hard for them to let go of there kids to a teacher they don't know

Jaclyn- I agree with your comment. this happened almost a year ago and it is still being talked about . people should just let it go and find something else to talk about. It did take him a long time to speak up especially after what he did to Taylor. the interviews with Taylor after what happened with Kanye you could tell she was very upset.
I think that Chris Kimball's article was the most interesting because it was the most exciting event with music in the last year. Kanye West made a major mistake when he took the microphone from Taylor Swift at the VMA'S. He then proceeed to talk about how Beyonce Knowles had one of the best music video of all times. That was very juicy.
Devin, i sincerely believe that he could care less about if t-swift's feelings were hurt. Its definitely not just an apology. He just feels bad because his songs suck and he hasn't had fame in a while. Therefore he needs to bring back the subject of the taylor swift dispute just to get more fame.
Shelby, I agree that people need to forget about it. It wasn't really actually anything important. Nothing but a scandral, gossip, and drama. The things that really matter are money, education, and jobs. That's something people should actually care about rather than stubborn celebrities that don't care about anything but their self obsorbed selves.
The best article in my opinion was the one presented to us by Chris Kimball. This incident was newsworthy because Kanye set a very bad example by "upstaging" T-Swift. This article also was a way to show how he feels and what he had to live with as well after the incident.
I don't agree with some of my peers. I don't think the kanye west article was newsworthy because it doesn't really have any serious importance to most people's lives. It is kind of like the paris hilton article; it's more something to gossip about than something that is relevant to most people.
I agree with shounak he brings a great point up about the money situation in America and how people need to spend money wisely and not just waste it. I believe that yes the pop star stories are extremely juicy and makes feel good about our selves but what really matters, Kanye West or how our Tax dollars are being sent?

The aftermath of the kanye west incident almost a year is still being talked about today. What he did was very wrong and I think he should have been thrown out of the awards for being intoxicated. This could have all been prevented but again since they are stars they can get away with this. They are not expected to behave like everyone else and this needs to be changed. This was a night meant to honor great singers, but he ruined it for Taylor Swift and many others.
Devin-I think that this is a bit of a publicity stunt, and I think this because its been a very long time since the incident has passed, and he already should have apologized meaningfully.

I agree with Meredith on why parents are keeping their kids back. I also think that the reason why parents are sheltering their kids is because they do not want their kids exposed to the things that most adolescents have trouble with these days. If they keep their child back for a year, they will be older and more mature when they have to deal with certain situations and make wise decisions.
